The quotes regarding wisdom were loosely taken from a book that I highly recommend titled Illuminating the Afterlife -Your Soul's Journey through the Worlds Beyond" by Cyndi Dale
Mary's Quick Book Reveiw-
This book talks in depth about the process of physically dying and brings into light the authors perspective on the Planes we visit in the afterlife. The premise is that while here on earth we can also visit these planes-through meditation and practical application in our lives,  to enhance our lives and achieve spiritual growth. The planes as she sees them are: the Plane of Rest, The Plane of Evaluation, the Plane of Healing, The Plane of Knowledge, The Plane of Wisdom, The Plane of Truth, The Plane of Peace, The Plane of Momentum, The Plane of Love, The Plane of Power, The Plane of Charity, The Plane of Mastery.  These are th Planes of Light on which we can learn a great deal about ourselves. Which plane would you like to visit? Perhaps our next Inspirational blog shall be about one of these planes! Today we did visit the Plane of Wisdom...

Journaling Class Update-Wisdom

Here we are after an inspirational evening of journaling. I am going to work on posting the assignments we worked on as well as any insights and wisdom that came through during journaling classes. Feel free to join this blog and post your own insights and inspirations for others.

As we journalers know, writing takes our thoughts and puts them into form so that we can start to make manifest that which we truly desire.

Wisdom was the topic of our class. "wisdom is the integration of knowledge with experience. Wisdom merges personal experieces with the higher teaching of knowledge to open the windows of the soul for enlightenment. True wisdom begins with seeing the light in the darkness, the good beneath the bad, hope within despair. The goal of wisdom is enlightenment or seeing light in something that may seem dark."
Given those definitions of wisdom, share an exprience you have had either giving or recieving wisdom.

The experiences were varied: from a wise friend who said " All you ever have to do is love yourself!" to a man sitting at the bar giving out words of advice that later led to a new path for one of us.
For me, the wisdom was in opening and listening to my daughter and supporting her in a choice she was making that I had not originally agreed with.
Wisdom comes when we least expect it, but is always timely. Wisdom can come from anywhere at any time, so be on the lookout for Everyday wisdom in the form of the blue heron flying overhead, the eagle that comes to visit us at outside journaling class, the grungy bar fly who tells you who you are by mapping it out on a napkin, the group of women gathered to hold each others pain until we an safely let it go on our own, the friend, who instead ofjudging you and  telling you how to make changes, says," Simply Love Yourself" and the yoga teacher who in her 40 year old bravado took on a group of 13 year olds sans cell phones and lived to tell about it! Her wisdom was:" Pause into the moment"
Wisdom comes at the perfect moment, without bells and whistles, subtley creeping into our lives, and then in a moment vanishes...until the next interlude of wisdom.
Take time to see the wisdom in your life today, welcome it, laugh with it, sigh with it, rejoice in it! Let it go and be ready for more!
Share your wisdom.
